Withdrawal method

How to

For the pull-out method to work correctly, it has to be done right every time you have intercourse.

Here’s some tips to make it work better:

    1

Be consistent. Do it every time you have sex.

    2

When ejaculation happens, make sure none of the fluid gets on your upper thighs or groin. Sperm on these areas of the body can work its way inside the vagina.

    3

Don't rely on withdrawal alone on the days you are most likely to get pregnant. An ovulation calendar can help you keep track of which days are safest to have sex on.

    4

Before intercourse, have your partner pee to clear out any sperm.
